Tekum was awarded repair project of Francis turbine runners (126MW). The repair process is carried out due to damage to the turbine runners caused by the combined effect of cavitation and corrosion. Tekum has developed and qualified special welding procedure for turbine runners from the group of material 7 according to ISO / TR 15608, which is applied to repair turbine runner in the mounted state for achievement of good mechanical properties and strength (<370HB), but without conducting post-heat treatment.
